Essen in Hessen – Pilot projects and dialogue platform in the out-of-home catering sector
Pilot projects on resource-efficient nutrition and the reduction of food waste are being implemented in selected pilot organisations of the out-of-home catering sector in order to achieve a more sustainable food supply and at the same time minimise food losses. Company canteens, vocational training institutions and prisons were identified as target groups. Accompanying the pilot projects, a dialogue platform “On the culinary path to sustainability – Essen in Hessen” will be established, which will develop recommendations for politics and business with a focus on education, internal and external communication and sustainability reporting.Contact name: Tanja Draeger de Teran (WWF Germany)
